Review - JACK AND DRILL 2 EP
Artist - ACE MULA
The first track 'Dont Understand' on this EP really sets a statement straight off the bat with a no-nonsense beat and a Justin Bieber sample that automatically makes them ears turn up.
Ace Mula hits the Jersey Drill beat hard on every track with an effortless flow. His energy is relentless and has thought about his placement of lyrics very carefully.
With great feature artists on his tracks these additional vocals support an already polished EP.
Although all tracks on this EP are bangers, my favourite was 'Jack and Drillettes' for its pure energy and the female artist element (Prinny) on this was done well and complimented the track.
We give this EP a solid 9 and look forward to more from Ace Mula

Track - Know Me
Artist - H20 HADD
After listening to this track it is still hard for me to believe that H20 is only 19 years old.
Hailing from Philadelphia, USA this artist shows a musical maturity beyond his years.
The track starts off raw with little music production apart from some well placed keys that compliments H20’s vocals.
H20 serves up a lyrical manifest as his spits from the heart with rapid succession. You can tell that he has lived the lyrics that portrays his life and you can’t help but getting caught up with each word he says.
I waited in anticipation for a beat to drop and I wasn’t disappointed. The production on this was on point with the vocals and the beat on this seemed to marry up like two lovers.
There was so many levels in the track and I felt that I was on a rollercoaster which didn't end. The ending on the tracks youtube video is a nice way to finish off the story that this talented artist has produced.
You can tell H20 draws upon his influences (Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch) on his music as he polishes off his tracks with ease.
We are expecting big things from this young artist so go check his music out - H20 Hadd - Know Me (Official Video)
We give this track a solid 8.75

Track - EXCUSE ME
Artist - ZARA SYKES, FEAT XTOF
Uk Rapper Zara Sykes teams up with RnB artist Xtof to reignite that 90's RnB flavour on this track.
The track starts off with a funky baseline that suprised and reminded me of G funk classic song that even Warren G would have been proud of rapping over.
Zara enters onto the beat with a smoothness flow which sets up path for Xtof to introduce himself on the catchy hook.
Zara and Xtof go back and forth and share the limelight as they both compliment each other on a well drilled track.
The music production on this transported me back to the 90s RnB era but could easily fit into today's mainstream music as they brought a fresh element on an old school beat.
Zara's lyrics were well balanced on the bar count and told a story with minimal words. It was simple but very effective as both Zara and Xtof took us on a journey as they both connected extremely well on this.
Xtof's vocal range in phenomenal and I enjoyed the subtle overlays throughout this track.
Like I said above, the definitely brought old school RnB back on this which reminded me of some great artist/groups such as Jodeci, TLC and Dru Hill.
We give this track a solid 7.5
